Chevro Calf Leather

This exceptionally soft yet durable calf leather gets its natural and fashionable colors through the rare and elaborate aniline dyeing. This type of dyeing is characterized by the dye penetrating deeply into the leather rather than just being applied on the surface. This preserves the surface structure of the leather, making each product unique in its texture.

The leather for the toiletry and cosmetic bags of the leather manufactory F. Hammann is tanned in Santa Croce near Florence, Italy, from the best Alpine hides. This is done without the addition of chromium salts in closed cycles, significantly below the latest EU environmental standards.

F. Hammann leather products are designed for long durability and often last a lifetime. Should a defect occur in the products, F. Hammann offers a repair service for the beloved bags.
